You painstakingly comb through a myriad of plan options and benefit combinations to precisely tune your benefits package so that you can offer the absolute maximum value for employees. Finally, when the time comes for employees to enroll, you stand back, ready for them to marvel at their good fortune to have such wonderful benefits. Instead, you get blank stares, maybe a shrug of the shoulders and a general expression that says, “huh?” Sadly, while brokers and employers put a great deal of effort into delivering insurance protection, employees generally don’t understand their benefits.
